I have been reading a considerable amount of books lately and with that, I have been learning a lot of new things get to know about how the world and we work.

While for the most part, I keep some learnings from the books (and the highlights in some cases) the human mind can’t store everything and after a while, I cannot remember a lot of details about the book or even explain the book to someone.

So, in order for me to retain the knowledge taken from the books, and even get more out of the books, I started to create a note from each book called Learnings from X (that being the book name) and they are grouped in this Learnings from books series.

The initial intent was to document for me the things that I learned and liked about the books. The idea is not to create a summary, review, or anything. It is what I learned and what resonated with me at the time that I read the book.

Like any book review, which tells more about the reader than the book itself, these Learnings from books can tell more about me and my knowledge (and even more about my lack of it) than the books themselves.

My goal in publishing these lessons is just for you to have another perspective. I don’t want or expect you to have the same takes from the books or agree with me. It is just one more view of it. So as with everything, take it with a grain of salt.

Check here all Learnings from Books posts.

I hope you get something for it.

Happy reading!
